Better Japanese Captions (Chrome extension)

This extension improves line breaks for Japanese captions on YouTube pages you visit. It runs entirely inside your browser.

• No accounts. You do not sign in to use this extension.
• No analytics or telemetry. The extension does not send your data to external analytics or tracking services.
• No remote servers operated by the developer. Caption text is processed locally using bundled logic (including the Budoux model packaged with the extension).
• Site scope. Scripts execute only on YouTube URLs declared in the extension manifest (youtube.com / www.youtube.com / m.youtube.com).
• Local preference. The on/off state for the caption toggle may be stored with the browser’s storage APIs tied to YouTube pages (same-origin web storage behavior). This preference stays on your device and is not transmitted to the developer.
• Third-party services. YouTube itself is operated by Google; normal YouTube privacy practices apply when you use YouTube.

本拡張機能は、ご利用中の YouTube ページ上で日本語字幕の改行を読みやすく調整します。処理はすべてお使いのブラウザ内で行われます。

• アカウントは不要です。
• 解析・テレメトリは行いません。外部の解析サービスやトラッキングへ字幕や閲覧履歴を送信する処理はありません。
• 開発者が運用する外部サーバーへの送信はありません。字幕テキストは拡張機能に同梱されたロジック（Budoux を含む）によりローカルで処理されます。
• 動作範囲はマニフェストで指定した YouTube のドメイン（youtube.com / www.youtube.com / m.youtube.com）に限定されます。
• 設定の保存：字幕機能のオン／オフは、ブラウザのストレージ機構により端末内に保存される場合があります（YouTube のオリジンに紐づく動作）。開発者への送信は行いません。
• 第三者サービス：YouTube の利用にあたっては Google のプライバシーポリシーが適用されます。
